4 tenderloin filets 6 Tablespoons butter, room temperature 1/4 cup gf gorgonzola cheese 1 Tablespoon parsley, chopped Lemon juice
In a small bowl mix all ingredients together, except steak and lemon juice.
Squeeze a small amount of lemon juice into buttr mixture and blend well. Place butter mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap or wax paper and roll on a cutting board with palms until it forms a cigar like shape. Place butter roll in refrigerator until firm.
Cook steaks to your liking and top with gorgonzola butter just before serving.
We used Stella brand of gorgonzola. It is not the best gorgonzola but is listed as gluten-free.
This recipe will work with steaks grilled, broiled or pan fried.
