1/4 cup gf hoisin sauce 1/4 cup applesauce 1/4 cup Asian chili sauce 1/4 cup gf ketchup 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger, minced 1 green onion, chopped 1/8 cup sake 1/8 cup rice wine vinegar 1/8 cup honey 1/4 cup sesame oil 1 teaspoon gf soy sauce 4 top sirloin steaks, about 1" thick Salt and pepper
Combine hoisin sauce, applesauce, chili sauce, ketchup, garlic, ginger, onion, sake, vinegar, honey, sesame oil and soy sauce and blend together. Place steaks and marinade in a sealable plastic bag and marinate over night.
To cook, prepare a grill or broiler. Drain steaks of marinade and grill for about 5 minutes per side, basting with marinade. Serve either as intact steaks or sliced.
