1/4 cup chopped garlic 1/3 cup canola oil 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1 Tablespoon cracked peppercorns 4 large pork chops, about 3/4-1" thick Salt
Place all ingredients except the chops and salt in a baking dish and mix well. Add chops and marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Remove chops from marinade and salt both sides of each chop. Prepare a grill or the broiler and cook at high heat for about 5 minutes per side. Serve immediately.
To crack your own peppercorns, simply place peppercorns in a small sealable plastic bag and pound with a hammer or the flat side of a meat mallet on a wood cutting board until all the peppercorns are cracked.
