Ingredients
3/4 cup gf flour 1-1/2 Tablespoons cocoa 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 ounces gf chocolate, semi-sweet or bitter-sweet, chopped 1 Tablespoon canola oil 1/2 cup gf brown sugar 1/4 cup sugar 2 Tablespoons light corn syrup 1 Tablespoon water 2 teaspoons vanilla 3 egg whites
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease an 8"x8" baking pan.
In a small bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Place chocolate and oil in the top of a double boiler over boiling water. Turn pan off and stir until chocolate has melted. To chocolate mixture add; brown sugar, sugar, corn syrup, water and vanilla, stirring until combined. Add egg whites and blend well. Stir flour mixture into chocolate mixture until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan, carefully spreading to edges.
Bake for 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before cutting into squares.
