1/2 pound small shrimp, shelled and deveined Salt 1/4 cup olive oil 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1 bay leaf 1 dried red chile pepper 1 Tablespoon parsley, chopped
Directions
Sprinkle shrimp with salt and let set for a few minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil, garlic, bay leaf and chile pepper. Saute until garlic begins to turn golden. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp turn opaque.
Sprinkle with parsley and pour contents of pan (including oil) into a small souffle type dish and serve immediately.
