12 ounces fresh broccoli 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 red, yellow or orange bell pepper cut into 3/4" pieces 2 Tablespoons water 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1-1/2 teaspoon olive oil 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
Directions
Wash broccoli and remove florets from stems. Thinly slice stems into rounds. Cut florets into smaller pieces.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, cook and stir for about 15 seconds. Add broccoli, red pepper, water, salt and pepper. Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Sprinkle with oil, toss to coat. Adjust seasonings if necessary. Serve immediately.
