Moroccan Spice Marinated Halibut

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
3 Tablespoons chopped parsley
3 Tablespoons chopped cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspooon salt
6 Tablespoons olive oil
4 halibut filets
Directions
Add all ingredients except halibut and oil in a small bowl and blend. Add oil and mix well. Pour half of marinade into a baking dish and add filets, coating both sides of fish. Cover dish with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat broiler. Place filets on a broiling pan and broil for about 4 minutes per side. Baste with a little of the reserved marinade when you turn the filets over. Serve immediately topped with a spoonful of the marinade.
Tips
This recipe will work with any firm white fish and is even good on salmon.
