1 lb. flank steak, sliced very thin 1 Tablespoon gf soy sauce 1 teaspoon dry white wine 2 teaspoons cornstarch 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil 1 large garlic clove, minced 1/2 cup onion, sliced thin 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced thin 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 6 scallions, sliced into 1-inch pieces
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the gf soy sauce, dry white wine and cornstarch. Add the sliced flank steak to the bowl and turn to coat the steak thoroughly. Heat a wok over high heat. Add the vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and onions; stir fry until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the red bell pepper; stir fry for 2 minutes. Transfer the vegetables to a plate. Add the sesame oil to the wok. Add the sliced flank steak to the wok. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. Stir fry until the meat is browned and just cooked through. Return the vegetables to the wok and add the green onions; stir fry for about 1-2 more minutes. Serve with white rice.
