1 bunch of thick stalk asparagus, trimmed 1 Tablespoon olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Prepare a grill. In a shallow baking dish, toss the asparagus with olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Place on a grill rack (perpendicular to the rack). Grill for 2-3 minutes. Using tongs, carefully turn the asparagus over and continue to grill for another 2 minutes or until just tender. Remove from grill and serve.
