Ingredients
1 16oz. bag of frozen edamame (soy beans in the pod) Coarse sea salt
Directions
Bring a large stock pot of salted water to a boil. Add the frozen edamame to the water and boil for 5 minutes or until just tender. Immediately transfer to a bowl of ice and cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain in a colander. Toss in large bowl with coarse sea salt and serve.
Tips
This is a highly addictive appetizer (you can never have enough) that pairs well with Asian foods. If you’ve never eaten edamame before you simply eat the soybeans and discard the outer pod (so make sure you have a bowl for guests to discard their pods into).
