1 Tablespoon olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper 6 medium tomatoes 3/4 cup crumbled gf Gorgonzola cheese
Prepare 1 side of a gass grill or charcoal grill (high heat), leaving the opposite side unlit if gas or without coals if using a charcoal grill. Cut off the top 1/4 from each tomato. Drizzle each tomato top with olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Top each with 1 tablespoon of Gorgonzola cheese.
Arrange the tomatoes (topping side up) on the unlit side of the grill. Cover the grill and cook the tomatoes, rotating so each side faces the hot side of the grill throughout the cooking time, until the tomatoes are slightly soft and the cheese melts, about 10-15 minutes. Serve immediately.
