2 cups small broccoli florets 1/2 cup gf bread crumbs 4 teaspoons fresh sage, minced 8 teaspoons olive oil 4 halibut filets 1/2 cup fish stock or gf chicken broth 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes; remove from heat and cool with cold water. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl mix bread crumbs and 2 teaspoons sage.
Coat halibut filets with bread crumb mixture.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 3 tablespoons oil. Saute halibut about 5 minutes per side, or until browned on outside and opaque throughout. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm.
Add remaining oil, broth and lemon juice to skillet. Stir in broccoli and remaining sage and cook until broccoli is reheated. Season with salt and pepper.
Arrange halibut on individual plates and spoon broccoli and sauce around fish. Serve.
