Ingredients
1 cup fresh orange juice 1 tablespoon gf soy sauce 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves Four 4 ounce bone-in pork chops, trimmed of fat Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 1/2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 400ºF.
In a small bowl, combine orange juice, gf soy sauce, garlic and thyme. Set aside.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a large oven-proof skillet heat oil over high heat. Add pork chops and sear until browned on both sides.
Transfer skillet to oven and bake until just a trace of pink remains in center, about 5 minutes. Transfer pork chops to a plate and keep warm.
Add reserved orange-soy mixture to skillet; cook over high heat until sauce is reduced by half, 3 to 5 minutes. Add pork chops and any juices that have accumulated on plate; heat through, turning to coat. Serve immediately.
