4 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and quartered 1-3/4 cups half & half 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter 1-1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper *1/4 cup gf horseradish sauce
Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Partially cover pot and reduce heat to simmer. Cook until potatoes are very tender. Drain. Melt butter in a small saucepan and add half & half and salt & pepper. Mash potaoes in pot with a ricer then add half & half mixture and horseradish sauce. Stir well to blend. Serve immediately.
